Opinion: If I were in charge of... Dancing Class - Alice Rowe, 10, Essex

1 min read
I'd definitely want to change the outfits we wear. Most of us wear our school stuff, but I'd ask everyone to wear jeans, sparkly tops and proper dancing shoes. I go to my dancing class every Tuesday from 4:30 until 5:30, and my friend Charlotte's mum takes us. We're the only pupils from our school to go to the class.

I like the class, but I want to dance in a bigger hall, like a church hall. Sometimes, when we move around we end up right next to the wall.

I wouldn't change our teachers, though. We have two dancing teachers, who are both called Hazel, and who are really good dancers.

We do loads of different dancing - disco, latin, rock and roll, and country and western. We dance with each other and copy the teachers.

Sometimes I'd ask for singers and bands like Enrique, Busted and McFly to come and play for us while we dance.

Now, we dance to tapes, but I'd want people who can really sing to play for us.
