News round-up: Sexual Health - Exposure project secures funding

Haringey-based youth media organisation Exposure has been awarded a grant to help raise awareness of chlamydia among young people in the London borough.

The Haringey's Community for Health Programme has provided £31,000 to run the Get tested initiative.

The group will use a variety of media, including flyers, local radio and websites such as YouTube, to promote the importance of chlamydia testing.

The campaign is aimed mainly at 16- to 24-year-old young men, as they are most likely to catch the sexually transmitted infection but among the least likely to get tested.
