News in brief: Parliament to debate on sale of violent video games

A Bill proposing a ban on the sale of violent video games to children will be debated by Parliament in May, after it was proposed by Labour MP Keith Vaz. The Bill coincided with a government report saying studies examining the effects of violent games on children were inconclusive. www.culture.gov.uk.
