The Government's new child poverty framework (Children Now, 7 January) is flawed, a cross-party group of MPs has heard. Giving evidence to the Department of Work and Pensions' select committee on behalf of the charity Care, analyst Don Draper also said the Government's benefit system discriminated against couples, with single parents receiving disproportionately more benefits.
