Scotland's first Gaelic medium secondary school gained the go-ahead following funding from the Scottish Executive. Education minister Peter Peacock said the school would build on the success of Gaelic medium primary education. He also announced the creation of a virtual network that will enable pupils to continue their secondary studies in Gaelic.
