Social workers in Edinburgh are considering protest options against their department's reorganisation (Children Now, 5-11 May). John Stevenson, secretary of Unison's Edinburgh branch, said staff were being consulted on options such as stoppages and the boycotting of excessive workloads. He expected a ballot next month.
