NCB Now: Series of workshops on inclusion begins

A new series of practical workshops run by the Council for Disabled Children, based at NCB, starts on Friday 31 March.

Designed to complement the Including Me handbook, the Department forEducation and Skills funded sessions are due to be led by author of thepublication, Jeanne Carlin. The training explores issues and practicalsolutions for including children with complex health needs.

Topics covered will include the management of medicines and theimplementation of the Disability Equality Duty and its effect on serviceprovision.

These workshops are relevant to everyone involved in the placement'support and management of children with complex health needs. Regionalevents will be held across the summer.
