Speakers and workshops will explore the importance of professionals communicating effectively with children in assessments, investigations or therapeutic work.
The seminar will consider challenging areas of communication, such as talking in an age-appropriate way about sensitive issues, enabling children to communicate with their parents present, and communicating with children with disabilities. The day is aimed at a broad range of children's service practitioners.
