The regional managers will start their work to support local areas indeveloping play strategies, a requirement for their application forfunding from the Big Lottery Fund Children's Play programme.
The regional managers will be contacting local authorities, which areleading the play strategy development, to identify which areas need themost support in this process. Play England will then offer a playstrategy enabling service to those areas with the greatest need, withfocused, specialist support and advice.
