The three-day course, in London from 16 to 18 June, will develop thegroup work skills of staff working in settings such as youth clubs,Connexions services, PSHE work, and school classrooms.
By the end of the course, participants will understand the keycomponents of emotional and social development in young people, identifyhow group work can help achieve the five national outcomes in EveryChild Matters, know how to develop and maintain an effective workinggroup, and be able to use a range of active learning methods.
