NCB Now: News from Scotland

North Ayrshire leads the way in seeking the views of parents and pupils.

A Children in Scotland report on the subject of additional learning support reflects the views of more than 1,200 children, young people and their parents or carers across North Ayrshire.

North Ayrshire Council commissioned Children in Scotland to consult with the intended beneficiaries of Scotland's landmark Additional Support for Learning Act, now in its fourth year.

Jonathan Sher, head of research and policy at Children in Scotland, said: "North Ayrshire's desire to seek and to learn from this process should be applauded."
