NCB Now: News from NCB Northern Ireland

1 min read
NCB Northern Ireland has been busy. On 8 November, Young NCB joined forces with the General Medical Council on a special design project.

Using minimal professional assistance, six teenagers from NCB Northern Ireland (NI) designed a poster to explain the rights children and young people have when visiting the doctor. It will be displayed in schools, youth clubs and clinics throughout the UK.

Gill Crouch, participation officer at NCB NI, said: "This was a wonderful opportunity for the young people of Northern Ireland to be creative and make their voices heard about issues that affect them."

In addition, NCB NI recently welcomed Celine McStravick as its new director. McStravick brings more than 20 years of community, voluntary and local government experience to the role, and will be instrumental in enhancing NCB's strong presence in Northern Ireland.
