NCB Now: New benefits for members offered

1 min read
NCB chief executive Paul Ennals asks how membership can help you in these difficult economic times. He points to best practice, evidence sharing and partnership working to help budgets go further so that children and young people are not the ones paying the price.

It is understandable that in these situations, we all review the value for money we achieve from all of our spending. With this in mind, NCB membership has been working hard to provide more benefits to ensure that members get the most out of their membership.

For example, as mentioned elsewhere, this year we held four regional events, which are free to members, and we have introduced a new information service covering the latest statistics on children and young people.

April brings a new financial year and with it a whole new raft of benefits. Of course, members still get the subscription to Children & Young People Now magazine, but you may also be eligible for multiple copies. All members can also now get Children in the News updates - the NCB news subscription service covering the latest stories and events relating to children and young people, as reported in the national daily press - free, either daily or weekly, direct to their inbox. Plus extra discounts on Eurochild membership; subscriptions to Third Sector and Nursery World; an information line to help with questions about policy in the sector and a quarterly guide with all the latest free resources, toolkits and guides from all over NCB.
