NCB Now: NCB membership policy events

On 11 February, NCB held a members' event in Liverpool as part of a series of nationwide themed policy events.

The events aim to build a community within NCB's membership to contribute to NCB policy agendas and practice on a range of topics including early years, health, social inclusion and education.

The Liverpool event focused on children and young people and health, with an overview by NCB principal policy officer Lisa Payne. Jo Butcher, NCB's assistant director of wellbeing, health and the environment, addressed how children and young people can contribute to sustainable development and the various influences on their healthy lifestyle choices.

The next event, taking place in Newcastle, will focus on children and young people at risk.
