With the number of mentoring schemes growing across a range of settings, NCB is holding a two-day training course to help scheme co-ordinators develop their confidence and skills.
Mentoring for children and young people: principles of good practice takes place in London on 7 and 8 June. It will be led by Deryl Dix and Mark Robinson.
The course will cover a range of practical issues, including methods of recruitment, addressing the training needs of volunteer mentors, and options for monitoring and evaluating schemes.
