22 February - Swings and roundabouts: Involving stakeholders in the evaluation of children's services. This one-day conference will look at how to successfully incorporate participation into evaluation. It is aimed at children's services managers and practitioners interested in getting people involved in evaluation. - Regent's College, London

24 February and 9 March - Equality Matters. A two-day training programme designed by the Early Childhood Unit to support social inclusion and anti-discriminatory practice in the early years. Participants are required to attend both training dates. - NCB, London
