14 January: Children first: meeting the needs of children and young people living with HIV. A one-day training course to update current knowledge of HIV as an issue and raise awareness of its impact on children, young people and families. Hamilton House, London

22 January: Working with 1- to 3-year-olds: Emotional, social and learning needs of 1- to 3-year-olds in daycare. A one-day training event focusing on new developments in care for the very young. The morning session will examine brain development and relationships in the earliest years. The afternoon workshop will provide information on the latest publications and resources. 27 January: Sex, alcohol and other drugs: the links explored. Part of a two-year national development project funded by the Department of Health.
