FACTS & FIGURES ON ... ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION

In 2002, 18 per cent of 11-15 year olds drank alcohol at least once a week. Amongst those 11-15 year olds who drink, the average amount rose from 5.3 units per week in 1990 to 10.5 units in 2002.
