NCB Now: Conference tackles obesity epidemic

A conference being held at the Institute of Child Health on 23 November will highlight the importance of putting children first in the fight against obesity.

Organised by NCB and the Child Health Advocacy Network, the event will explore four key approaches related to tackling the current child obesity epidemic.

Delegates can view Learning for ourselves, a video produced by young participants from NCB's Health Challenge project about raising self-awareness and the difference healthier living can make.

Adrian Voce, incoming director of the Children's Play Council, which is based at NCB, will talk about the importance of good play opportunities.

- Please call 020 7843 6441 or email conferences@ncb.org.uk.
