NCB Now: Be part of the UK's biggest ever event to end child poverty

Show your support for the End Child Poverty campaign and join the Keep the Promise rally this autumn.

Together, the members of End Child Poverty are holding the UK's biggest ever event to tackle child poverty. On Saturday 4 October, with the government in danger of failing to keep its promise, thousands of children, young people, families and others will gather in Trafalgar Square, London. They will send the message that the government needs to act now to ensure they meet their target of halving child poverty by 2010.

The event will begin with a short march, led by children and families and accompanied by bands, into Trafalgar Square. Supporters will assemble at Millbank, near Lambeth Bridge, from 11.30am and the march itself will start at 12.30pm. The marchers will arrive in the square at 2pm, where there will be children's activities and speeches.
