In partnership with research company TNS-BMRB, NCB has received the three-year contract from the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) to carry out England's leading survey of childcare and early years providers.
- Study of the Implementation of Free Early Learning and Childcare for Two-year-old Children
NCB and the National Centre for Social Research were awarded DCSF funding to carry out a qualitative study examining the views of local authorities, providers, parents and children on the impact of the free childcare offer for two-year-olds.
- Developing the Participation of Disabled Children and Young People
Along with the Council for Disabled Children, the Alliance for Inclusive Education and The Children's Society, NCB received Big Lottery funding to carry out a three-year study researching disabled children and young people's participation in services and matters that affect them.
