My life: Radhika Chavda, east London, 15

1 min read
I go to Forest Gate Community School in east London. The Off-screen Education Programme has offered me the chance to take part in an exciting trip to the deserts and cities of southern Arabia.

Eight students, including myself, have been nominated to take part inits student art expedition to the United Arab Emirates and Sultanate ofOman in February.

All of us will be using latest digital and satellite communications tobroadcast daily from the Middle East to schools across the UK.

I will be exploring different cultural experiences, and also it's goingto inspire me to look at the world in new and different ways. This tripwill help me and be part of my art GCSEs.

I will also be meeting new people and learning about their way oflife.

I will learn about their culture and religion.

At this very moment, I'm feeling astonished and very excited becausethis opportunity means so much as I would have a lot to benefit and gainfrom this, as this is a once-in-a-life-time experience.
