My role is to encourage people aged between 16 and 25 to get involved in their local area by volunteering and taking part in community projects. I try to make my projects interesting and to ensure they have really positive effects, either on the environment or the people involved, ideally both.
One of the projects is called Laugh for Life, which will provide comedy workshops for young people from an estate in a neglected East End area. Workshops will be run by drama teacher and trained comedian, Joe Rowntree. I'm hoping that the project will culminate in performances at one of London's major hospitals.
