My Life: Nicole Thornton, 8, southeast London

1 min read
On a typical day I normally get ready for school, go to school, do some work, have playtime and then go back into class.

I do some art, have lunch, have playtime and then we go back into class, finish our art work, have a little playtime and then we read a story.

Then we go to play club and play. Then my dad picks me up and we walk home.

I have one brother, who is 10. I like going to my cousin's house.

My favourite films are The Haunted Mansion, Shrek 2, The Cat in the Hat, Daddy Day Care and Kangaroo Jack.

I like collecting certificates, like certificates for being in the newspaper and being in a real book.

My poem is in a book. It's about a leaf dreaming about being free so it can have some air.
