My Life: Jessica Lawrence, 11, Peckham, London

1 min read
Every week I go to the horse school - I work there and help with the horses. I muck out and chuck up - putting all the dirt in a truck, which goes to help gardens. I tack up, ride and do competitions. I just did one on Monday - a gymkhana - it was my first time.

I actually came last, but it was great fun.

My horse was called Lulu. She's chestnut coloured and really easy to ride. I like looking at horses, brushing them and watching them ride around the horses' school by themselves. I've never fallen off.

At home I have two rabbits: Mazy is black and white, and Coco is chocolate-coloured and named after the cereal Coco Pops. I love animals and when I grow up I want to be a mounted police lady because I love riding horses so much.

I go to Lyndhurst Primary School in Camberwell and I really like PE. My favourite game is benchball. You have two benches and two teams. The ball starts in the middle and you have to get the ball on to the other team's bench. I like swimming and my teacher calls me the mermaid.
