My Life: Jessie Mark, 8, Buckinghamshire

1 min read
I have three sisters who are very kind. I also have two brothers who I love as well. Their names are Georgina, Eleanor, Lawrence, Natasha and Gregory, and they're all older than me. My mother works as a librarian and my father works in property. I love them all. There are eight of us.

I love having a big family because they're always kind and help me a lot.

We all like to have a good laugh and usually do.

At school I'm in the school council. It means I represent my class. We listen to ideas from all the classes, then take them to the school council.

This term we're trying to raise money for activities in the playground. We'll probably try a mufti-day and a cake stall. We know that we'd like some skipping ropes for everyone to play with. I like being a school councillor and I get to wear a blue badge.

My favourite colour is green and I love reading and playing with my bubble wand. My bubble wand is a long stick that when you open it makes really huge bubbles. At the moment I'm reading Harry Potter and the The Goblet of Fire. I'm very excited about going to see the new Harry Potter film in the cinema. And I'm looking forward to playing outside in the summer.
