I go to an after-school youth club and my youth worker told us about the children and youth board and gave us a form.

I joined the board last June because it seemed interesting, a chance formy views to be heard and for me to make a difference. One of the mainissues I was concerned with was bullying. I got picked on (for beingfrom Algeria) and I didn't want it happening to other children. Healthyschool meals were also important to me.

This year all the junk food at my school has gone. The work we have beendoing is making an impact. We also have meetings with Beverley Hughesand tell her what we have been doing regionally. I did a questionnaireon improving school behaviour. I gave it to people in my youth, police, netball and rounders clubs.
