The charity's Family Commission will start work on 31 March. The 10- to12-strong group will look to expose gaps in support for families, andidentify future trends.
Anne Longfield, chief executive of 4Children, believes it is importantto do this work now because modern families are becoming more culturallydiverse.
"There are lots of policies and programmes designed to help families. Wewant to see if they have the flexibility to support the wide range offamilies today," she said.
The commission will include members with creative and entrepreneurialbackgrounds as well as those with more experience in evidence-based workand government policy.
