Young People March, located in the market town of March, works with children and young people aged seven to 25. The grant will be used to organise training sessions, while making use of the centre's existing facilities, which include a basketball court, pool and table tennis tables, ICT and music equipment.
Sarah Brown, centre manager, said: "With this money we can open our doors for the foreseeable future. This is a six-day-a-week service that young people can access, with qualified staff running day and evening sessions.
"It will also provide resources needed to provide training for young people who participate in volunteering."
