We are pleased to see the government make a bold statement of support towards young people in Positive for Youth.
In particular, we welcome children minister Tim Loughton’s rejection of negative stereotypes of teenagers and his assertion that 99 per cent of our young people are already responsible and hardworking, and want to make the most of their lives and make the world a better place.
This intention is aligned with our work at Independent Academic Research Studies and through the 99% Campaign. We hope our young people get the support they need to achieve their vision for a stronger and more inclusive society.
