Information sharing: Rights group looks into privacy issues

Action on Rights for Children (ARCH) received the money from The Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust to carry out new work over the next nine months.

Terri Dowty, director of ARCH, said she was concerned at the potential cost of the Government's proposed information-sharing index to local authorities. She is also concerned about the retention of children's DNA by police.
