In Practice: Painting the scene at Overland opening

Balloon-modelling, face-painting and a steel band were among the treats on offer at a garden party to celebrate the official opening of Sure Start Overland Children's Centre in Bow last month. Special guests included TV star Tommy Walsh from Ground Force who cut the ribbon to declare the centre open. The centre is one of 13 in Tower Hamlets, which aims to have 21 across the borough by March 2010.
