Liberal Democrat candidate for London mayor and former youth worker, Simon Hughes, will be among the famous faces sleeping rough for all or part of the night of 10 December.
The celebrities will be advised where to sleep and what to avoid by four young people who recently got off the streets and into YMCA accommodation.
The four will also shadow staff at the five-star Landmark London hotel, gaining work experience in departments such as the health club, and stay overnight at the hotel.
Suzanne Parsons, basic skills tutor at West London YMCA, said: "We will set up the young people with an itinerary and afterwards we will review how they have got on. I have high hopes for the scheme."
