Penumbra is a Scottish mental health charity that provides a range of support services to adults and young people.

The organisation, which is named after the partial shadow around the sunduring an eclipse, offers services such as drop-in sessions, group andone-to-one work and projects tackling specific problems includingself-harm, drug abuse, bereavement and eating disorders. Services can befound across Scotland.

The charity also offers training on mental health for children'sprofessionals and young people. It carries out peer education work inschools and community settings and provides consultancy services onmental health promotion work as well as publishing informationleaflets.
