Help From ... National College for School Leadership

The National College for School Leadership offers professional and practical support for everyone involved in school leadership in England.

It provides resources for managing schools, such as examples of policies, and is also developing a community leadership strategy to help schools develop links with other agencies and their local community.

The college publishes a magazine for school leaders six times a year.

It also runs events, including leading practice seminars.

The LEArning project aims to find out how local authorities, schools and other groups can work together to improve children's learning and wellbeing. And the talk2learn section on its web site allows school leaders to share good practice.
