It helps fledgling and existing clubs access funding and offers stafftraining in a wide range of areas including child protection, managingbehaviour in a playwork setting and equal opportunities.
The organisation works in partnership with others. For example, it hasdeveloped a resource pack with the British Heart Foundation on promotinghealthy lifestyles for children in out-of-school clubs, including funactivities for children.
It has regional offices in north Wales, west Wales and south east Wales,and there are English and Welsh versions of the organisation's website.
