South Norfolk - 4.7% of live births weighed less than 2,500 grams in 2004 (7.6 per cent in England)
Between 2003 and 2004, the percentage of live births weighing less than 2,500 grams increased by 2.3 per cent in Crewe and Nantwich, while in Christchurch it fell by 5.9 per cent. In south Norfolk the percentage also fell by 1.8 per cent, compared with an average drop of one per cent across England.
