HEALTH NEWS: Clinical excellence - Age takes priority in decision making

Age should be a major factor when taking decisions on the cost-effectiveness of NHS treatments, according to the Citizens Council of the National Institute for Clinical Excellence.

The council is made up of members of the public in England and Wales between the ages of 18 and 76.
