HEALTH: Children not major focus for Wanless

The Government has denied that the second report from ex-NatWest chief Derek Wanless on the provision of health services will place a major emphasis on children's issues.

Securing Good Health for the Whole Population, which is due to be published today, is set to recommend cost-effective ways to improve the health of the population and reduce inequalities. Wanless published his first report, Securing our Future Health: Taking a Long-Term View, in 2002.
