Hats off: Teenage mothers knit to keep babies warm in Africa and Asia

Teenage mothers in Nottingham have been getting their knitting needles out to make hats for babies who are at risk of pneumonia in Asia and Africa. Residents from Family First's Mayholme Teenage Parent Accommodation, which provides housing to vulnerable 16- to 20-year-old parents, have donated 24 hats to Save the Children's Knit One, Save One campaign. Lisa Ash, children and young people's manager at Family First, said: "The project is such a good cause and the residents really enjoyed it once they got the hang of it."
