GFS Platform

1 min read
An organisation working with young women.

- What is GFS Platform?

The Girls' Friendly Society, or GFS Platform, has been supporting young women since 1875. It aims to help them develop their potential and increase confidence to improve their quality of life.

- Where is GFS based?

The head office is in London but community projects have been established in areas where GFS members perceived a need to work with young pregnant women or young mothers who may be, for whatever reason, excluded from aspects of mainstream society.

There are also 40 parish-based branches run by volunteers who work with girls and young women from the age of seven.

- What sort of roles are available?
