What is it? The purpose of the Youth Sector Development Fund (YSDF) is to promote and support growth and build capacity within third sector organisations who deliver effective services and activities for young people in England, particularly the most disadvantaged.
It is managed by a partnership of four organisations led by Ecotec, and including PrimeTimers, Catch 22 and Business to Business. The fourth round of the YSDF focuses on supporting the aims of the government's Information, Advice and Guidance Strategy published last year.
How much is on offer? Up to £10m, which will be split between around 25 third sector organisations, who will get a mixture of grants and business support. The deadline for applications is 4pm, 4 February 2010.
