Health
What is it? It is a fund of grants being made available by charity Drinkaware Trust, as part of its public education programme. This aims to change British drinking culture by engaging consumers with information to make informed decisions about the effects of alcohol on their lives and lifestyles.

How much is on offer? The fund is £1m, and grants will be awarded on three levels. Applicants can receive a £2,000 Ideas Fund, £25,000 for an Awareness Project, or a £100,000 Big Impact Award.

What will it fund? The money is intended for a variety of educational initiatives, ranging from film production and theatre workshops to youth conferences and large-scale partnerships.

Who can apply? Funding is open to organisations working with under-18s and 25- to 44-year-olds in any part of the UK. Charities, community and other voluntary organisations can apply for funding towards new and existing projects, as well as piloting ideas that have wider potential.
