Young people who have left mainstream education will be helped into further training thanks to funding for a new youth worker in Ystradgynlais in Wales. Just under 25,000 from the Welsh Assembly's Communities First programme will go towards the post at the Acorn Project, which offers the chance to learn new skills and study for qualifications.
