Funding briefs: Disadvantaged young people in Liverpool

Disadvantaged young people in Liverpool are to learn how to make furniture thanks to a 60,000 Big Lottery Fund grant. The one-year Knowsley Start Working with Wooden Furniture Recycling Project will teach furniture-making, using waste wood from local companies and households. The project aims to build confidence and self-esteem.
