A project that will look at ways of helping parents with mental health problems care for young children is one of six initiatives to win a share of nearly 1m from the Big Lottery Fund's research programme grants. The Anna Freud Centre in Hampstead, London, will get more than 200,000 to test the impact of parent-infant psychotherapy.
