Children excelling in music and dance are to benefit from means-tested grants of up to 3,000 to be awarded via four training centres. The money will be available from September from the Sage Centre in Gateshead, London Contemporary Dance School, Yorkshire Young Musicians and the Yorkshire Advanced Training Scheme, both in Leeds.
