Brighton-based charity Adventure Unlimited, which runs outdoor activities and camps for disadvantaged children and young people, has been awarded a Big Lottery Fund grant of nearly 150,000 to train more unemployed people as outdoor instructors. Many past participants on the nine-month course have gone on to careers in youth work, education and the outdoors.
