
Myplace, which aims to transform youth facilities across the country,has already handed out 240m in grants to 62 projects in England.But with only 30m left in the pot, the money is going to belimited to centres in some of the most deprived areas in England.
BLF, which manages the Myplace fund, has also said it will focus only onprojects that have already invested "significant energy" inwell-developed plans driven by the participation of young people. Theapplication process for the final Myplace grants of between 1mand 5m is set to begin next month.
Setting out the new reg- ulations, the fund states: "With more than 200proj-ects applying to date, we have been unable to support all of thegood applications we have received.
