Film gives views of young Londoners

1 min read Youth Work
Young people in London are being given the chance to have their say on youth provision in the capital through film.

Reel Change is a media project run by Tower Hamlets' Summer University for 13- to 19-year-olds. It will give the teenagers a chance to promote and exhibit a cutting-edge documentary focusing on their priorities for change in youth provision.

Through the film, the young people will inform the final rollout of the youth offer by giving their views on issues facing young Londoners and how they think money should be spent on youth services in their boroughs to improve their outcomes.

The project comprises six vocational courses, including filmmaking and journalism, and will give young people hands-on experience in media, film production and marketing through working with industry professionals.
